Chapter 126 Zombie General's Tomb

The response from Raydon caused Zombie to pause for a moment of reflection, after which he yelled angrily.

\'\'Are you trying to make fun of me?\'\'

Raydon sneered again at the zombie\'s slow response, "I guess your brain is just as rotten as your body, huh? \'\'

\'\'Do you think I can\'t kill you? \'\' The already enraged zombie said through clenched teeth in response to Raydon\'s taunting.

"I don\'t even think you can attack me here, hahah," Raydon said with a laugh.

Raydon knew why he was here because the zombie had accidentally sold an earring to him for a very low price, so he was trying to provoke the zombie even more. If the zombie had any guts, he would have tried to kill him by now instead of talking, so Raydon knew he could safely ignore the zombie\'s stupidity and continue talking to him within the Trade Organization borders.

It was clear that the zombie\'s heart, which was already pounding furiously inside his ribcage, was beginning to beat more quickly than ever as Raydon mockingly welcomed his threads.

He had been looking for Raydon and had finally tracked him down to this antique shop, which served as one of the main points of entry to the item market.

He came here a day ago because he didn\'t know where Raydon lived and has been sitting here ever since. The shopkeeper\'s apprehension stemmed from this very situation. Without so much as an introduction, the zombie arrived, sat in the waiting chair, and waited for Raydon for an entire day.

\'\'I\'m unable to attack you here, but what will happen if you leave? \'\' The zombie, whose brain had long since stopped working, had come up with a plan and said so, grinning slightly to keep his wrath under control.

\'\'You\'re really stupid, aren\'t you? I\'ll just take another exit from the item market,\'\' Raydon replied with a shrug.

After a brief moment of thought, the zombie became frozen once more. There were probably a few hundred, if not a few thousand, hidden entrances and exits to the item market. The item market is so large and busy that it would be difficult for the zombie to keep up with Raydon until he left, and so it\'s likely that the zombie would quickly lose track of him there.

"Give me back the earring and double the gold coins you owe me," When he was at a loss for what to do next, the zombie said.

\'\'What the hell? Given that you were the one who originally sold me the item, why should I return the gold coins to you for twice as much, plus the earring? If you hadn\'t been an idiot to begin with, you wouldn\'t have sold. \'\' Raydon said with a surprised expression at the zombie\'s unbelievable demand.

\'\'Stop calling me stupid. Do you really believe I can\'t kill you? \'\'

\'\'I said you can\'t… Ehh… nevermind. I\'m leaving. Just sit here and rot some more. \'\' Raydon decided he didn\'t want to deal with this mindless zombie any longer and went to the VIP entrance.

\'\'Y-You! You forced me to do this. \'\' Raydon\'s behavior had finally pushed the zombie to its breaking point. From his expression, it was clear that the zombie was hesitant, but he eventually reached into his dimensional storage for a green cube.

"Hey, I don\'t think you should get into a fight here. If the organization finds out. \'\'

\'\'Shut up!!! \'\'

The old shopkeeper tried to step in, but as soon as the zombie shouted, he bolted away. The female employee who was next to him was already unconscious on the floor.

The zombie\'s words must have piqued Raydon\'s interest, as he turned to look at him.

\'\'Huh? What is that? You finally made the decision to attack me? \'\' In a mocking and provocative tone, Raydon asked.

He actually wanted the zombie to attack him. Though he could see that the zombie was powerful, he didn\'t believe that it would be too much for him to handle.

\'\'You should feel proud of yourself for making me use this valuable item on you. With this, I can kill you and keep it a secret from the Trade Organization,\'\' Zombie said with a booming laugh.

\'What is he up to?\' Raydon was intrigued by Zombie\'s confident demeanor. His defense was very strong because of his increased stamina and sub-skills, but there were still many things in this fantastically filled world that he didn\'t know or understand.

\'\'Now pay the price for deceiving me. \'\' The zombie yelled once more as he raised the mossy green cube he had been holding and pointed it at Raydon.

\'\'Participate. \'\'

"You moron, it was you who was trying to deceive me in the first place," Raydon exclaimed nervously as he looked at the object being held up to him.

After the zombie activated the item, it caused all the lights to suddenly dim. A green, foul-smelling fog began to cover the surroundings, and Raydon felt a chill as he watched the high-quality tiles beneath him slowly turn into dried earth that quickly spread around him.

Raydon watched as the fog gradually lifted and everything he could see took on the appearance of a dreary, ancient tomb. The wind blew cold, and the air was thick with the smell of decay. The only sounds he heard were the rustling of dry leaves and the creaking of old, twisted trees that added to the gloomy atmosphere.

\'\'Cool. \'\'

Despite the eerie, otherworldly nature of the place, he couldn\'t help but feel a sense of excitement as he realized he was trapped in this fantastical place.

His enthusiasm was amplified by the system message he received shortly after.

[You have entered an inheritance.]

[Inheritance name: Zombie general\'s tomb. (F-Rank)]

[Time until Inheritance ends: 2:59:59]

[Caution!!! In this place, death is permanent.]

\'\'Holy fuck!!! This is incredible.\'\' Raydon couldn\'t contain his excitement after seeing the system message and burst out laughing.

However, he wasn\'t the only one who was enthusiastic.

\'\'I will make a tomb here for you.\'\'

He was accompanied by the zombie.
