Chapter 140 Getting The Inheritance (Part 11)

\'\'Okay, but let me refill my mana first. The mana cost of the combo I used was quite high. \'\' Fehim said while nodding. Although the zombie\'s armor appeared to be durable, he was able to kill it with his last skill, which was extremely destructive but also consumed a lot of mana.

\'\'Fine. \'\' Raydon said and proceeded to inspect the zombie\'s remains, which had been cut in half.

\'I wonder if I can make some gold coins out of this. \' He was ruminating once more about how to utilize a stage to its full potential.

Under Fehim\'s strange gaze, he collected the zombie soldier\'s remains and placed them in his dimensional storage.

\'He must have every crafting material imaginable in his collection, \' Fehim thought. He believed Raydon\'s behavior was a result of his passion for collecting crafting materials.

\'\'My mana is full again. \'\' After a period of rest, Fehim said.

"That\'s good, we can begin to move," While indicating for Fehim to take the lead, Raydon said. His defense against sudden attacks was also quite good, but it was evident that Fehim\'s HP regeneration was significantly superior.

Without opposition, he took the initiative and began to walk ahead. As the two moved forward, their field of view shrunk and more fog descended upon the region.

Fehim frowned, "This fog started to make me nervous."

Unfortunately, his investigative skill was similar to Raydon\'s in that he could not see the location of undead bodies, and he struggled with the uncertainty of not knowing from where his enemies would strike.

\'\'How much further do you think we have to walk? I suppose it seems like there is no other enemy nearbyaghhh \'\'

*BANG*

When Fehim turned around to talk to Raydon, an arrow struck him in the chest, sending him flying backwards once again.

\'\'Hook. \'\'

Unlike him, who let his focus wander, Raydon used his skill in the direction the arrow came from, hoping to pull the enemy.

In the end, his expectations were met. Instantly sensing a target, he began to pull on his Hook.

pαпdα Йᴏνê|,сòМ "Quickly gather yourself." Fehim, who had a large hole in his chest, was slowly rising from the ground when Raydon yelled at him.

\'\'Spirit Wave. \'\'

Raydon immediately swung his sword at the zombie that was being pulled towards him through the mists, dressed in identical black armor as the previous one, but this time holding a bow.

*CLANG*

The zombie used the sharp end of the bow in its hand to sever Raydon\'s hook skill\'s rope and then used the small shield on its arm to block the oncoming wave of black slash.

\'\'Damn, they all have a high agility stat or what?\'\' Fehim cursed the zombie\'s lightning-fast reaction. The hole in Fehim\'s chest, who had already come running to Raydon and was ready to attack with an ax in hand, was beginning to close.

"I think we can try the same strategy we used before. What do you think?" Fehim suggested that they use the same method that they had just used to kill the last zombie soldier. Like the other zombie soldier, this one seemed to be quick and had good reflexes. With the aid of its bow, it could also make long-range attacks.

\'\'Hey? \'\' After waiting for a while for a response to his query, Fehim turned around and noticed that Raydon was not present.

"What kind of skill or technique is this guy using? " Fehim couldn\'t hold back his surprise. The person who had been standing next to him just a few seconds ago was no longer anywhere in sight.

"Come to your daddy, baby zombie." Knowing he could rely on Raydon\'s abilities, Fehim pushed aside his surprise and began running towards the zombie soldier, taunting it for appearing to be of his own race.

This time, Fehim was running towards the zombie soldier with all of his might and using his wings right away because he knew how powerful and quick it was, but the zombie soldier\'s archery was just as quick.

*BANG*

*BANG*

Since he was prepared this time, he did not fly backwards as the first arrow struck him, but his movements slowed with each arrow hit.

\'\'Dude, If you don\'t intervene, I\'ll become a cheese with lots of holes. \'\' Fehim screamed as he examined the wounds the zombie soldier had carved into his body with each arrow he had failed to dodge.

\'Damn, why hasn\'t he acted yet? \' He murmured. His body was beginning to run low on the toxins required to regenerate the green armor he wore.

\'\'I can\'t wait for him. \'\' Fehim decided to use his defensive-type skill.

He understood that he would be unable to use his attack-type skills against the zombie soldier unless Raydon came out to block the zombie soldier\'s arrows. He knew that if he waited any longer for Raydon, his body would be full of holes.

\'\'Dissolving Shield. \'\'

In front of Fehim, a pentagonal shield of vapor that resembled the yellow steam from his ax formed.

*BANG*

\'\'Shit, what a power. \'\'

As soon as the shield was in place, the incoming arrow slammed into it with devastating force and then disintegrated into a puff of yellow smoke. Fehim was not physically harmed by the blow, but he did take two steps back and lose a great deal of mana.

\'\'Really, this fight won\'t last long if you don\'t do something about it,\'\' He yelled again anxiously. Initially, he believed he could handle three zombie soldiers at once, but he was now incapable of facing even one.

*BANG*

*BANG*

*BANG*

While arrows were still being shot at his shield, Fehim kept yelling for Raydon to offer some hope.

\'Damn, these arrows use up more mana than the impact of earlier floating rocks,\' he muttered.

*BANG*

\'\'GAAAGHH…\'\'

Fehim was standing still and thinking when he was knocked off his feet by another arrow from behind. He was suddenly confronted by a second zombie soldier who appeared from the mist behind him with a bow in hand.
